A is for Anton at Ardrossan on Anzac Day

Today is Anzac Day
We decided to go for a drive
With no particular destination
In mind

After 145 kilometers
We found ourselves in
Ardrossan!

We stopped at a
Quaint cafe
Watched the seagulls
Took a little hike

Then headed to the
Jetty!

A is for Apple Pie

You floored us
Last Easter
When you uttered
Your first three-syllable word:
"Apple Pie"

G is for Glenelg

Wind in your hair
Sun in your eyes
Sitting on the grass
Watching the world go by

Is there a better way
To spend this Easter Monday?

E is for Easter

When you woke up
This morning
You found an Easter egg trail
Waiting for you
How excited you were
To find at the end
A choco Peter Rabbit
And a whole bunch of chocolates
Especially for you

P is for Peppa

This little pig
Has taken over this week
Begging to be read
First thing in the morning
And last thing in the evening.

Since you started with childcare
Monday to Friday
Eight hours a day

You are cool now
When Mommy and Daddy drop you
At childcare
You look like one happy child
When Daddy comes to collect you
Later.

You've matured so much
This month past
Quickly adapting
To this new lifestyle.

We are so proud of you
Bello.

W is for Winner!

A winner is not someone
Who wins all of the time
(Because such is impossible)

But

A winner is someone
Who lost at some point
Maintained his composure
Trained harder

And when the opportunity
Presents itself again
Shows to the world
He is the best man!
